A series natural and synthetic fabric samples bound in small card covers with decorative pictures. The booklets were used for sales purposes and would be given to prospective customers.
The collection also includes a copy of the Utility Non-Wool Apparel Cloth Book. The Utility scheme was introduced during the Second World War and continued after the War. Its purpose was to ensure that reliable cloths were made to agreed specifications.
