This archive collection contains papers relating to the establishment of the Fox Talbot Museum in Laycock, Wiltshire. The collection predominantly covers the decade preceeding the opening of the museum in 1975, and includes correspondence, promotional materials, press cuttings. There are also meeting minutes for the museum's committee and the Royal Photographic Society. A smaller amount of material relates to the development of a facsimile of Talbot's Pencil of Nature in the 1990s.
