The archive of Photographic Advertising Ltd contains the surviving photography and records of a medium-sized photographic studio which operated in London, and briefly in Manchester, between 1926 and 1977. There are five main types of material in the collection - stock sheets, individual images (mainly negatives, with some prints), guard books, promotional albums and sales ledgers. The collection is particularly strong in material from the 1930s and 1940s and is predominantly photographic material. Business transaction details can be researched using the stock sheets, guard books and sales ledgers.
