The photographs relate to the American harmonica virtuoso able to playing symphony melodies, imitate chords and the sound of a plucked string on the harmonica. He campaigned for greater recognition of his instrument, played across the world and also campaigned for greater awareness of cycling. The photographs were sourced from various press agencies except for some shots of Adler and his fiancee by Daily Herald photographer Saidman.
