Beige hardback notebook with red binding. The label on the front is printed with 'South Eastern & Chatham Railway' and with the handwritten addition 'Grasemann Aug. 1919. 'Souvenir' book'. The first page is entitled 'Amusing + Interesting Incidents recorded during employment by SE + C Rly + Southern Rly'. A list of positions and dates of employment follow, with latest dated position being 'Asst. to London [?]East Divisional Operating Supt London Bridge 1/11/23-'. The notebook contains stories, anecdotes, sketches, and pasted-in material including memos, newspaper cuttings, telegrams. Some annotations in Grasemann's hand have been made to the pasted-in material. A loose-leaf newspaper cutting is found at the front of the notebook.
