Shop round, clear glass, empty, for concentrated infusion of calumba, English, 19th century. Also known as Jateorhiza Palmata.

Calumba is a tropical plant, the root of which has been used in medicines world-wide. It has mainly been used for digestive issues such as diarrhea, nausea and poor digestion due to its gentleness as a bitter, but it has also been used in some cases as an antiseptic.
