The North Sea oil rig worker faces conditions which require special clothing if he is to work efficiently and safely. Exposure to very cold and wet situations is coupled with the need to protect him against possible accidents such as fire and falling objects. The outfit comprises: hard hat; quilted undersuit; fire-resistant overall in high visibility orange; waterproof over-trousers with aluminised lining; waterproof anorak; antistatic boots with oil resistant soles and fur lining.
