Crown Graphic Special folding bellows camera. Proffessional camera using 5 x 4 inch negatives. Made of aluminium alloy covered in black leather, with chrome fittings. To operate, the fornt is dropped and the front lens standard pulled out; it comes to rest at the infinity mark. For focusing, a rack and pinion mechanism is used which also operates the double extension. Focusing range from 3 feet to inifinity, coupled to rangefinder mounted on top of camera, plus optical direct vision viewfinder. Camera has no reversing back. The gound-glass focusing screen and frame are spring-loaded to allow a quick change of plate-holders. The lens standard has rising front and tilt as well as cross movement. The lens is mounted in a special lens panel which can easily be changed.
