Travelling trunk as used on stage coach journeys in early railway days. Leather covered with brass studs, handle and lock. Initials 'C M' above lock on lid. Owned and used by Clara Mingo the great grandmother of Mr F Dunstone of the Chief Goods Manager's Office, Paddington Station who donated the item to the Great Western Railway Company, November 1929. Inside the lid are three coloured prints of 'ladies of fashion' of the year 1806. Overall: 273 mm x 515 mm x 310 mm.
