Archaeological remains, Great Eastern Railway, Roman settlement remains discovered during Braughing Station (west of Stevenage, Herts.) widening in December 1892, comprising 4 Roman bronze coins (1. Augustus, rev. Great Altar of Lyons; 2. Augustus 1 -14AD; 3. Antoninus Pius 161AD; 4. Claudius Gothicus II 268 - 270AD), 3 fragments of Samian ware, 1 iron ring, 1 bronze bracelet,1 bronze nail, 1 bronze brooch pin, head of (missing) bone pin and bronze fibula (several items missing) in wooden display case, originally ftom GER Board Room Museum, Liverpool Street Station. Dimensions: 13"x7?". Includes 1975-7316, 1983-7238 and 1986-8025.
