Painting, oil on canvas, London for State Occasions, by Christopher Clark, about 1930. Depicts the royal state coach in procession outside the Houses of Parliament at the State Opening of Parliament. Four pairs of horses dressed in elaborate headgear and red and gold saddles pull the carriage. Postilions ride four of the horses. Original artwork for London Midland & Scottish Railway poster.
