Painting, oil, original poster artwork, The Tower of London, British Railways, by Christopher Clark, about 1938. Depicts Yeoman Warders, or Beefeaters, parading for inspection at the Tower of London, with the White Tower in the background. The warders carry pikes and wear uniforms of knee-length scarlet tunics, scarlet knee-breeches and stockings, and round brimmed hats called Tudor Bonnets. Original artwork for London, Midland & Scottish Railway poster.
