Painting, oil on board, Great Northern Railway 2-4-2 locomotive No 1470 The Great Northern, by G Harrison, about 1957. Depicts the locomotive from the left side, in a station in about 1923. A single passenger carriage is visible behind the tender, and smoke pours from the chimney, largely obscuring a bridge in the background. A railwayman stands near the front of the engine, and on the platform are a woman seated on a suitcase, with a small boy standing alongside. Signed by the artist at bottom right. Framed, unglazed.
