Painting, oil on canvas, Gorleston-on-Sea, by Wilfred Moody Fryer, 1960. Depicts the beach at Gorleston-on-Sea in summer, and an accompanying image in the upper right corner of a family heading for the beach with beach ball, bucket and spade. The father, who is smoking a pipe, points with his right hand. The main illustration is a bird's eye view of the beach filled with people, with beach huts, sailing boats on a boating pond, sunbathing and swiming. Signed by the artist at top left. Unframed. Original artwork, for British Railways (Eastern Region) poster We're off to Gorleston-on-Sea.
