Painting, oil on canvas, South East & Chatham Railway Class D 4-4-0 locomotive number 731 decorated for the Coronation of King Edward VII, by an unknown artist, about 1902. Depicts the locomotive at Longhedge Railway Works in Battersea, south London. The engine is decorated with patterned drapery and the crests and coats of arms of the South Eastern Railway and the London, Chatham & Dover Railway. In the background is Hampton's furniture repository. The painting is based on a photograph and is unframed.
