Poster, British Railways (Western Region), Wales, Travel by Train by Frank Wootton about 1960. Coloured lithograph depicting an imagined scene in Wales. In the foreground is a river, crossed by a stone bridge. An angler fishes on one bank, and on the other side of the river cows approach the water to drink. Beyond the bridge is a ruined castle, similar in some respects to Harlech Castle. Dominating the background is a mountain, which closely resembles Cader Idris. Text below, with the British Railways 'totem' in red on either side. Format quadroyal.
