Coloured lithograph depicting a couple lying on towels a sandy beach. The woman is dressed in a white one-piece swimsuit and bathing cap, and is seated, leaning backwards supported by her left hand, and smoking a cigarette. The man is also smoking, dressed in a dark one-piece bathing costume and leaning forwards to talk with his companion. In the background are the sea wall, promenade and amenities. Printed by Jarrold & Sons Ltd., Norwich & London. Format: quad royal. Dimensions: 40 x 50 inches, 1016 x 1270mm.
