Poster, Liverpool Overhead Railway, Splendid View of 6 Miles of Docks and River Frontage, about 1908. Coloured lithograph depicting the Liverpool Overhead Railway, with six additional illustrations showing sites along the route and a carriage interior. Accompanying text reads "Visitors to Liverpool should not fail to take a trip on the Railway as it affords a panoramic view for 6 1/2 miles of the finest docks and shipping in the world". At the top of the poster, in red lettering, are the words Great Southern & Western Railway. The Engineer and General Manager of the Railway is identified as S B Cottrell, who served in these posts from 1892 to 1908. Format double royal.
