"J.D." 116cc 2-stroke light-weight motor bicycle, c. 1924. The J.D. was in production between 1922 and 1926. It shows evidence of how designers were trying to bring motor and bicycle together more harmoniously. The engine is lightweight and has a magneto ignition where the chain and pedals are used to start the engine.
