Altimeter, early type by Negretti and Zambra, marked Central Flying School No. II

This instrument for measuring the height of an aircraft was made by Negretti and Zambra. It was designed for use at the Central Flying School in Upavon which was set up to train service pilots when the Royal Flying Corps was created in 1912.
