Painting, Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 4-4-0 locomotive number 5, oil on hardboard by Cuthbert Hamilton Ellis, about 1935 to 1968. Depicts the artist's impression of the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 4-4-0 locomotive number 5 hauling a passenger train of teak carriages on a single track line in Norfolk, probably in the period 1911 to 1920. The train is crossing a bridge over a culvert or track, and in the background is the North Sea. Signed by the artist at bottom right. Unframed.
