Medal reads 'HRH PRINCE ALBERT PRESIDENT OF THE ROYAL COMMISSION' with 'EXHIBITION OF THE WORKS OF INDUSTRY OF ALL NATIONS MDCCCLI/ EXHIBITOR' on the reverse. (The only surviving item from the first Dunscombe Collection, which was destroyed in a fire at the International Exhibition in Brussels in 1910), 1851
