Archival-quality scrapbook containing a large representative sample of the different varieties of share certificates and other shareholder pro-formas (dividend coupons etc.) issued by the Great Western Railway (GWR) and its associated and constituent companies. The scrapbook was compiled in 1987 by a team of retired BRB staff (Messrs Richards, Farrow, Adams and Lloyd) from the best examples of these documents as found in the stocks held at the BRB Records Centre, 66 Porchester Road, London W2.
