Plough plane fitted with a No1 iron and six alternative irons Nos 2,3,4,6,7 & 8.

This tool, known as a plough, was used for working out recesses for panelling and sunk portions of the woodwork. They were used in coach-building, particularly for jointing bottoms of carriages and under door panels.
