Poster, London Midland & Scottish Railway, Willesden No. 7 Box, by Norman Wilkinson, about 1925. Coloured lithograph depicting a twilight scene at Number 7 signal box on the west coast main line at Willesden. The tall signal box is at left. An overbridge extends across five railway tracks, with signal gantries on either side. A London, Midland & Scottish Railway passenger train, hauled by a steam locomotive, passes at right, heading north towards the viewer. Text beneath reads "Main line - Euston to the North". At left are the letters "LMS" and at right the company crest. Text in bottom margin reads "From the LMS Carriage Window Series (6). Printed in Great Britain by McCorquodale & Co. Limited, Glasgow & London". Format: quad royal. Dimensions: 1016 x 1270mm. Linen backed.
