Silver medal, awarded by Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society to Joshua Craven of the SS. 'Illyrian' in 1880, made by J. Mayer, England, 1839-1880. In 1880 the 'Isaac Webb' sailed for New York but on 25 October, was abandoned at sea and the captain and crew, 24 in all, were rescued by the steamship 'Illyrian'.
