Weather stamps, [2 sets of] 4, in Presentation Pack No. 321, issued by Royal Mail, 13 March 2001. 11.5x22cm. Design by Howard Brown with illustration by Tony Meeuwissen. To mark 150th anniversary of weather maps going on sale to the public. The first heat sensitive stamps: lower cloud design on the First class stamp is printed in thermochromic ink enabling change from storm grey to sky blue if paper heated by rubbing.
