Phenol formaldehyde (Bakelite) cigarette box, rectangular, moulded inimitation walnut (brown/ dark brown ) phenolic. Lid decorated with raised design of three parallel lines running horizontally across lid, in S-bend cut at the mid-point by a raised handle, running horizontally across the lid, and decorated with three raised horizontaly parallel lines. Resting on four round feet. Base marked: "MADE IN ENGLAND". Made c.1930.
