Ashtray made of mottled dark brown phenolic. Oval, with rectangular dip in centre. Three cigarette rests on either side of of dip. Side decorated with three steps in increasing diameter top to bottom. Base stamped with trademark "Gadeware" in form of circular motif with word over hump-backed bridge and storm clouds above and "MADE IN GT BRITAIN". Made c.1930. Base hollowed out.
