Double ashtray in form of rectangular tray, with two square ashtrays at either end with rectangular cigarette tray in centre. Made of dark brown phenolic. Three cigarette rests on each ashtray, on three sided. Ashtrays have raised flat rims decorated with four raised strips. Base is hollow. Base has moulded trademark: "REGAL MODEL/9EIGHT STYLES0/ MADE IN/ENGLAND...REGD. DESIGN/ NO.807451 " inside pillow-shaped rectangle. Above "REGAL" is embedded a second trademark "VELOS/TRAQDE MARK", Velos contained within a lozenge surmounting a large "V". Made c.1930.
