"Standards and Recommendations for Heating and Ventilation" published by the British Transport Commission, British Railways and the London Transport Executive (Railways) in 1960. The standards emerged from a review of the heating and ventilation sections of the 1949 Code of Practice for Lighting, Heating and Ventilation of Railway and Other Premises." The review took into account new legislation such as the Clean Air Act and the new Factories Act.
