Albarello, earthenware, tin-glazed, for opium poppy seeds. 256 mm x 129 mm, 1128 g. Glazed inscription reads, 'S. Papau. Alb' although handwritten note on the lid indicates the jar may have also been used for Magnesium sulphate. Unknown maker, Spanish, 18th century.
