Painting, oil on canvas, Essex Watermill, by Terence Cuneo, 1942. Depicts a view of a watermill from the banks of a stream. In the foreground the banks are lined with colourful flowers, with a brick bridge at the centre. Above is the mill, with white-painted wooden walls. At the top of the winch house is a weathervane, set against a blue sky with white clouds. The watermill featured is the Grade II* listed Hallingbury Mill, Little Hallingbury, Bishop's Stortford, on the River Stort (built 1874, closed 1952). Framed, 614mm x 815mm.
