Nintendo Game Boy Color, model number CGB-001, made by Nintendo in 1998.
The Game Boy Color had three times the memory and twice the processor speed of the original Game Boy. The most significant difference was its colour screen and an infrared port for wireless linking (dropped in later versions). The Color was one in the popular line of Game Boys, combined sales of the line are over 200 million.
