Pendant containing photographic portrait of a woman, reverse contains a lock of hair, c.1850. Oval daguerreotype of middleaged woman, slightly discoloured, 45x55mm. In gilt mount with swivel ring; hair back on opal glass.

A photographic portrait of a woman set in a gold frame to be hung from a chain, taken by an unknown photographer in about 1850.

The woman pictured wears a lace collar and a large brooch at her neck. Slight hand-colouring has highlighted the flowers in her hair and the gilt of her brooch.
