Pair of Baker dissolving view lanterns

C Baker, Optician, 244 High Holburn, Lodon. Wooden bodies; japanned metal fronts with brass lenses, rack focused, with pivoted caps. Probably for oil burners; lamps missing; tall chimneys missing, but simulations made for display. In box with fitting for comb dissolver, instructions for Newton's Reflugent lamps pasted inside lid.
