'Billy Liar' (1963) was based on the 1959 book of the same name by Keith Waterhouse. The film starred Tom Courtenay and Julie Christie and was filmed in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The photograph shows Courtenay and Christie, as characters William Terrence 'Billy' Fisher and Liz, walking down a road.
