Kinemacolor programme, Theatre Edouard VIII, 12 December 1913

A programme for a Kinemacolor show at the Théâtre Edouard VII in Paris, December 1913.

Charles Urban (1867-1942) built the Théâtre Edouard VII on the Boulevard des Capucines in Paris in order to show Kinemacolor films. Urban had already had great success showing his films exclusively at the Scala Theatre in London. The Théâtre Edouard VII did not enjoy the same success, Urban lost a lot of money on the project and the theatre closed in May 1914.
