The postcard shows the Acropolis at Baalbek in Lebanon.
The Photochrom process was a form of photolithographic colour printing developed around 1890. The process was used widely to produce scenic and tourist views and for reproductions in art books.
Founded in 1888 in Zurich, Photoglob were the world's largest publishers of Photochrom views.
