Gelatin silver print entitled 'Unpublished Picture of Hiroshima Atom Bomb Explosion', taken by an unknown photographer and distributed by Associated Press, 23 July 1947. 'This picture, taken from the town of Yoshiura, on the other side of the mountain north of Hiroshima shows smoke rising from the explosion of the atom bomb. It was obtained by an Australian engineer at Kure, Japan. Note the radiation spots on the negative caused by the explosion.'
