Amphibious vehicle known as an "Amphicar". 1967, registration number KTR133E

Designed by Hans Trippel, the Amphicar Model 770 launched in 1961. While amphibious cars had previously been made, the Amphicar was the first to be mass produced with production taking place in West Germany between 1961 and 1965. On land the vehicle achieved of top speed of 70mph but on water reached a more leisurely 7mph.
