Pace CANAL+ 'Le Cube' hybrid HD satellite TV/IPTV receiver and video recorder, designed by Yves Behar for Pace plc, Hungary, 2009. Complete with box, remote control, instructions and other accessories

This striking piece of equipment was Europe's first satellite/internet television hybrid set-top box to use an Ethernet port for video-on-demand services. It was specially manufactured for the leading French Pay TV operator Canal, for use with its CANAL+ and CANALSAT services. It featured an innovative user-friendly interface for selecting programmes and could also record up to 100 hours of high definition (HD) television programming. The case was designed by the Swiss-born industrial designer Yves Behar.
