Volmer VJ 23E powered hang-glider, designed by Volmer Jensen and Irving Culver. This was built by David Cook in 1973, and used by him to become the first man to fly a powered hang glider across the English Channel. David Cook’s crossing was sponsored by Duckham’s of Bolton.
