Compound microscope, culpeper type.

This microscope was probably made by either Matthew Loft or Edward Scarlett. It is similar in style to Loft's designs, but Demainbray described a similar microscope which was made by Scarlett in his syllabuses.

Inscribed on the body tube: 'DOCTr DEMAINBRAY'.
