Photograph entitled 'Other Version of Friar Laurence and Juliet' taken by Julia Margaret Cameron in 1864. Albumen contact print from wet collodion negative. This photographic study of the author Henry Taylor (1800-1886) and Mary Ann Hillier (1847-1936), posed as literary characters from William Shakespeare's (1564-1616) 'Romeo And Juliet' forms part of the Herschel Album, created by Cameron for her friend Sir John Herschel (1792-1871).
