Print 34 in 'Annals of the Artists of Spain', published by Sir William Sterling Maxwell (1818-1878) in 1848. '34' inscribed in pencil. Spainsh painter Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez (baptised 1599 - 1660) was a leading artist at the court of the Spainsh King Philip IV.
