Tea service, sterling silver, consisting of kettle and stand, teapot, coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl, kettle engraved ‘Presented by the Chairman, deputy Chairman and Directors of the South Eastern Railway Company to James I’Anson Cudworth Esq as a token of their regard and esteem on his resignation of the office of locomotive engineer which he had held for a period of thirty one years, November 1876’.
