Press Association photograph titled 'TV cameras to foil escape bids'. Caption on back reads: Closed circuit television cameras are mounted at intervals along the perimeter wall of Wormwood Scrubs prison, London, as a precaution against jailbreaks. At the foot of the wall are concrete posts to prevent parking of vehicles which might be used in an escape bid. The cameras scan both sides of the perimeter wall and pictures are transmitted 24 hours a day to a central control room in the prison. Other precautions include arc lights and observation towers at vantage points.
