Manual Exchange Switchboard CB1

One box of spare parts for the manual exchange switchboard CB1 (three-position unit), made by the Western Electric Co., 1922. Box contents includes;

a) 3 x bundles of grey corded wire with telephonist plug attached.

b) 3 x bundles of black corded wire with telephonist plug attached.

c) 1 x bundles of red corded wire with ttelephonist plug attached.

d) 2 x bundles of green corded wire with telephonist plug attached.

e) 1 x red and yellow corded wire with telephonist plug attached.

f) 2 x short length of brown corded wire with a clip at one end and prong at the other.

g) 9 x short length of white plastic coated wires.

h) short length of wire wrapped with red, white and blue cover.

i) very short length of white plastic cut to reveal many differently coloured wires.

j) short length of grey rubber / plastic containing textile strands.

k) metal cover

l) metal component to hold wire in place

m) metal component, rectangular with four metal bars.
