John Nesbitt Ltd was a manufacturer of wrap reels and yarn gauges for the textile industry, originally established as John Nesbitt in 1784, when the founder John Nesbitt took over the business of Francis P Walker. The company later stocked tools and other engineering items. In 1913, the company took over the scale makers H Sutcliffe & Co of Manchester.

John Nesbitt Ltd ceased trading in 1969.
